Kessler’s spelt flakes are made from 100% spelt and are gently processed into flakes using a hydrothermal method. During this process, the grain is broken down by heat and moisture, making the nutrients it contains more readily available. Spelt is a traditional cereal and naturally contains carbohydrates, protein and minerals. The flakes are suitable as a feed supplement for dogs, rodents, horses and birds.

Spelt is one of the oldest cultivated cereals and is characterised by its diverse range of nutrients. Processed into spelt flakes, the grain can be easily integrated into existing feed rations. The flake form, measuring 4–6 mm, allows for even mixing and versatile applications in animal feeding.

Kessler’s animal feeds are gently processed in accordance with strict quality guidelines. Our spelt flakes are packed in 25-kg bags for convenient storage and handling. To preserve the product’s quality as effectively as possible, the bags should be stored in a dry place and handled correctly.
