Our gammarus are fished wild from the lakes of Siberia and then gently sun-dried. This traditional method preserves valuable nutrients in the gammarus.

Which animals are suitable for gammarus

Gammarus are a versatile feed. They are suitable as a complete feed for aquatic turtles. They are an ideal addition to the diet of pond and ornamental fish. You can also feed gammarus to reptiles, birds and rodents.  Turtles and koi also benefit from the high nutritional values of this natural product, which speak for themselves:

Particularly noteworthy is the natural content of astaxanthin, an antioxidant that is said to have a health-promoting, beneficial effect and can make the coat or scales of the animals shine in bright colours.

Storage and shelf life of our Gammarus

The aim is for your gammarus to retain their freshness and high quality for as long as possible. To achieve this, please store them in a cool, dry place away from light. If stored properly, our dried gammarus can be kept for up to 2 years. If you always store our natural feed in a dry place, there is no risk of mould or spoilage.
